Parkinson's Awareness Month: 30 Days-30 Stories/ Day One-Introduction

Today is the start of Parkinson’s Awareness Month. As the headline says: 30 days-30 stories.

I know the date is 4/1 and you’re thinking April Fools. Nope. Not on this one. Each day this month I’ll publish something Parkinson’s related.

The stories range from celebrities to new treatments. From clinical trials to personal travails. I even have some music pieces ready to run on the first weekend.

You’re also thinking, how will he be able to find 30 stories? I was, too. It wasn’t that hard. I already have about three weeks of ideas. If you see something, please pass it along. I give credit (sorry, no cash) and about 50-100 people will know your name….sometimes quite a bit more. It’s about 15 seconds of fame.

So that’s the introduction. Welcome to Parkinson’s Awareness Month: 30 days-30 stories.

Tomorrow: Day 2- My story.

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
