Game of Thrones Winners and Losers: The Winds of Winter

Argh, this episode was so good! I’ve been listening to the score on repeat! I made myself an outfit just like Cersei’s! (No, I didn’t!)

While the season overall had its hits and misses, I felt like the finale was at least a three-run homer. Maybe not a grand slam. Maybe we could’ve done without Daenerys telling us, not showing us, that Tyrion is a great hand of the queen. He’s been terrible all season, Dany. Haven’t you been paying attention?!? No, you haven’t. You’ve off riding dragons while being a white savior. I get it. You’re busy.

I don’t think this will be my last post of the season, because a) I have more to say/predictions to make and b) I’m just not ready to say goodbye to Game of Thrones for a whole NOTHER year. Hurry up and finish Winds of Winter, George! The people are hangry!

In the meantime, I’m currently rereading A Game of Thrones, which is even better the second time. It’s taking me forever, but it’s so damn enjoyable. If you’ve never read the series, I highly recommend it as something to do during the off season. Yule love it!

I wrote a book! It’s YA novel, THE SOUND OF US. You can find the details right here! Kirkus calls it “a winning story about a teenage voice student that hits all the right notes.”
