I don’t know about you, maybe it’s the weather, but I’m having a hard time getting it up (blogging-wise) for all the nonsense happening over the past few days. I don’t care about the Super Bowl. I’m not interested in any movie scripts Quentin Tarantino will not be filming. I’m not outraged about anything Cubs-related.
But here are a few things I am excited about. Get pumped with me.
1. Frozen sing-alongs. Starting January 31, theaters will not kick you out if you start singing “Let It Go” at full volume.
2. The Mindy Project. That squee you heard on Tuesday night was me. The show is off the air until April, so you have time to catch up.
3. Go Fug Yourself’s Downton Abbey recaps. Much more enjoyable than the show itself.
4. Lego’s Disney Princess line. I’m happy that Lego is branching even further into girl territory. Do I wish they had found another commodity to pimp besides Disney princesses? Sure. Do I wish that the 646 piece Cinderella’s castle were more difficult and contained fewer filler pieces? Of course. But baby steps. Maybe by Christmas they’ll have a 2,153 piece Elsa’s ice palace made only of tiny clear bricks. (With a light up chandelier, ohmygod.)
What are you excited about?
