Weight Loss Success: 25 things since losing 100 lbs
I wanted to compile a list of things that have improved since losing weight to celebrate my weight loss success. I plan to have a total of 100 things that have improved since losing 100 lbs. I got this idea from Brooke Not on a Diet Blog. She has amazing weight loss success that I aspire to achieve I was able to relate to a lot of her listings.
Currently I have 2.2 lbs to lose in order to get to my 100 lbs milestone goal. I have a lot of people cheering me on for this goal and it’s exciting. My Weight Watcher Leader, Robin, said she will celebrate with me when I hit the goal at the meeting. Zip Fitness said they are making plans to celebrate too.
As I work towards my milestone, writing down these things has given me the focus and push to continue. Since February, I had been gaining to losing to gaining to losing because I was not tracking my foods honestly. Who was I lying to anyways? No one looks at my food tracker except me. I’m now focused on the basics to track my foods and eat more veggies and fruits.
When I first started to lose weight, I would follow other weight loss success stories to get motivation. As I achieved goals like theirs, I felt connected to them because I could relate. I hope this list can be things you celebrate now or aspire to achieve for your weight loss success.
1. I fit into a restaurant booth 2. legs not going numb while driving 3. I shop for style and then look for size 4. I’m able to roller blade 5. I’m able to run 3.1 miles without walking 6. touching my toes 7. I can do a backbend 8. I can co a cartwheel 9. nails and skin healthier 10. De-stress quicker (I use to be mad all the time) 11. hair shines and looks healthier (people have wondered if I dyed my hair but I haven’t) 12. I sleep better 13. I’m an awesome cook 14. My sense of taste has improved 15. Sex (I have more energy and stamina) 16. self-esteem (I love myself and know I am worthy) 17. I want to wear pretty clothes with bright colors 18. able to wear high heels 19. go on bike rides with my son 20. my blood pressure is normal 21. no longer on high blood pressure medication (doctor’s help) 22. I can fit into a small bathroom stall ( closing the door would be a problem with space) 23. my back does not hurt because my chest is not as heavy 24. no more elastic band pants (I recall purchasing maternity pants because my stomach was bigger) 25. I inspire others to start their own journey
