Super Bowl Snacks
I wanted to feature some tasty, lighter Super Bowl snacks that are easy to do and help you stay on plan. Getting together to watch the big game usually means pigging out on greasy, fatty foods. There is nothing wrong with indulging once in awhile but it matters by the portion sizes and not feeling guilty the next day. When you’re armed with super bowl snacks that are tasty and better for you, you gain the confidence that you can enjoy a fun event and feel great about your decisions. Make sure you portion out what you will be eating ahead of time so the mindless eating food wont happen. I recall eating the full bag of Lays Chips with French Onion Dip in one sitting. I would feel so awful about doing some real damage to that bag and still feel hungry. Junk food does not stick to you. These recipes feature power foods that will help you stay fuller longer. Those are whole grains, low fat dairy, fruits, veggies and healthy oils.
