Game of Thrones Bar Crawl SOLD OUT TICKET GIVEAWAY!!

The Geek Girl Chicago Twitter reached 1,500 followers today! I’m super proud and thankful. You geeks are great. This happy occasion is perfectly timed with a TICKET GIVEAWAY, in partnership with my friends at Lakeshore Beverage.

For over a year now, I’ve been helping Lakeshore and Brewery Ommegang launch Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire beers in Chicago. You can see photos from previous parties HERE and HERE. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. The final GoT brew, Three-Eyed Raven Dark Saison, will be hitting stores this April.

This beer legacy deserves a huge celebration. On Saturday, March 28th, we’re taking the show on the road. Geek Girl Chicago will be in the house (er, trolley) for CRAWL BEYOND THE WALL.

Crawl Beyond the Wall is inspired by Bran Stark’s journey North. The plan is this: Four trolleys, each associated with a Game of Thrones house or group, will load up at 4PM at Alleycat Comics. Participants will journey to four different bars- each a secret location until we get there.

As usual, contests and prizes will fill the night. I helped pick some glorious raffle prizes. The best costume will win Robb Stark’s sword. EVERYONE will get 5 beer samples, a Game of Thrones goodie bag, and the most fun in all the Realm.

Crawl Beyond the Wall SOLD OUT within a few, short days. Don’t worry- Lakeshore Beverage and I have a pair of tickets to give away. Click HERE to enter. You will be put on Lakeshore Beverage’s mailing list. You can unsubscribe, but I’m actually on it; they basically just tell you about cool beer parties. Thumbs up.

The winner of the two tickets will be informed on March 18th. Best of all, you can choose which trolley to be on- Stark, Lannister, Night’s Watch, or Targaryen! …The correct answer, of course, is Targaryen. 😉
