8/8/16 Recap: Affiliates complete sweep, Barnette has strong outing behind Michalczewski's big night

The affiliates all found themselves in the win column last night. Tyler Barnette had a decent outing for the Barons while Trey Michalczewski gave him all the run support he needed. Down in Arizona, Victor Done had his best outing since arriving stateside.

Birmingham 10, Jackson 3

Tyler Barnette notched himself a quality start, allowing just one run across six innings of work. While he walked three batters, he also added eight strikeouts to minimize any scoring threats. Keenyn Walker went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and swiped his 20th bag of the season. Alfredo Gonzalez went 2-for-5 and is hitting .326 in 25 games since coming over from the Houston Astros last month. Trey Michalczewski had the big night for the Barons. He went 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs, and two runs scored. He even added a pair of walks for good measure.
