White Sox Minor League Recap 6/27/2015: Voyagers bats impress

The Charlotte Knights and the Winston-Salem Dash were rained out on Saturday, but every other affiliate was in action.

Jackson 4, Birmingham 2

Starter Tyler Danish labored through his five innings, giving up three runs, and the Barons offense couldn’t muster much support. Tim Anderson went 2-4 from the leadoff spot and is hitting .381 over his past ten contests with only four strikeouts over that time. Third baseman Nick Delmonico went 2-3 with two doubles and a walk and is hitting over .500 since being promoted to the Barons. Reliever Zach Isler pitched two perfect innings of relief and Tyler Barnette struck out four batter over two innings to finish the game.

Asheville 4, Kannapolis 0

Starter Luis Martinez was let down by his defense as he did not allow an earned run, however, he walked five and three unearned runs crossed the plate over his 1.2 innings. The Intimidators bullpen was very solid as Jose Brito came on and only allowed one run while tossing 5.1 innings and Jacob Morris pitched two scoreless innings. The Kannapolis offense only had three hits and third baseman Ryan Leonards had two of them, as he went 2-2 with a walk.
