The Knights knocked out thirteen hits but couldn’t convert on their chances, only getting in three runs. Carlos Sanchez had a nice day at the plate, collecting three hits and a walk. Erik Johnson only allowed two earned runs over five innings, but he gave up eight hits and walked four.

The Barons offense has gotten a shot in the arm thanks to the demotions of Jared Mitchell and Dan Black, who are hitting .340 and .400 respectively in a Baron’s uniform this year. Rangel Ravelo’s two doubles improved his hit streak to twenty games, which is the third longest in the team’s history. Scott Snodgress pitched efficiently and has a 3.29 ERA over his past ten starts.

The Dash are missing their two top hitters, Tim Anderson and Courtney Hawkins, and it showed as they only managed five hits during Thursday’s game. Nick Basto was the bright spot, he went 2-3 with a homer and a walk.

Robinson Leyer had been dominate of late, however he was anything but Thursday, the 21 year old Dominican allowed five runs over 4.1 innings, giving up seven hits and walking three. 2014 draft pick Brett Austin had a bases clearing double and Danny Hayes knocked out two hits.

2014 7th rounder Jake Peter went 2-4 with a double. Peter is hitting .409/.500/.455 for Great Falls. 19 year-old Matt Ball pitched well, striking out three and only allowing one earned run over five innings.

17 year-old Micker Adolfo had a homer in Wednesday’s game and followed it up with a two hit performance, doubling and driving in a run. 18 year-old Dominican Victor Done has shown good strikeout numbers, he’s punched out 15 batters in 11.2 innings pitched this year.
