Star of the Day: Myles Jaye was a fringe prospect entering the 2014 season but fell flat on his face during his time in Birmingham. The former Blue Jay, acquired alongside Daniel Webb, owned a 6.32 ERA over ten starts and was demoted to Winston-Salem. In his first start for the Dash, Jaye absolutely dominated, only needing 92 pitches to cruise to a nine inning complete game shutout.

Who is Hot: Carlos Sanchez smacked his second homer of the season and only the fifth of his entire minor league career to win the game for the Knights in the top of the tenth. Sanchez is batting .381/.426./.619 with three stolen bases over his last ten games. Fellow Knight Taylor Thompson has a 0.54 ERA over his last ten appearances out of the Charlotte bullpen. The big three Winston-Salem hitting prospects (Anderson, Hawkins, and Barnum) combined to go 6-11 during the Dash victory.

Who is Not: Matt Davidson appeared to have turned the corner on a rough start to the season, but he has slumped again. Davidson is hitting .135/.238/.297 over his last ten games. 2013 5th rounder Thad Lowry was rocked his third start of the season, surrendering six runs over just 1.2 innings.
