Knights’ Notes
Micah Johnson posted a .318/.348/.364/.711 and struck out four times in his first 24 PAs in AAA. Matt Davidson is 6-15 with a HR and 2B in his current 4 game hit streak. Small sample, but good to see Davidson moving in the right direction.

Kevan Smith 3-4, RBI
Scott Snodgress 6IP, 3H, 2ER, BB, 3K

Barons’ Bit
The Barons have lost 5 straight since Micah Johnson got promoted and are averaging 1.2 runs per game during that span.

Frederick 6, Winston-Salem 7
Tim Anderson 2-5, R, 3B, K
Jacob May 1-4, R, RBI, K, SB(6)
Courtney Hawkins 1-4, R, 2B, 2K
Jason Coats 2-4, 2R, 2B, HR, 2RBI, BB, K
Joey DeMichele 1-4, R
Tyler Danish 5IP, 7H, 5ER, BB, 5K, 2HR
Bryan Blough 2IP, H, 3K

Dash Dots
Tim Anderson has two hits in three straight games. Making his debut for Winston-Salem, Tyler Danish had a less than desirable first start with the team. Danish let up 5 earned runs and amazingly enough, that’s one more than than he let up in Kannapolis all season. The silver lining would be that he struck out 5 in his five innings and continued to force hitters to beat the ball into the ground (GO/AO 2.67).

Hickory 5, Kannapolis 6
Adam Engel 0-3, K
Carl Thomore 0-1, 2BB
Cleuluis Rondon 1-6, R, 2K
Jacob Morris 1-4, R, 2BB, 2K
Trey Michalczewski 1-3, R, RBI, 2BB, K
Robinson Leyer 5IP, 7H, 5R, 2ER, BB, 2K
Andrew Mitchell 2IP, 3BB, 2K
Jordan Guerrero 3IP, 2H, BB, 3K

Kannapolis Beat
Trey Michalczewski had a walk-off sacrifice fly and reached base in 3 of his 5 plate appearances to add on to his impressive sophomore season. Jordan Guererro tossed 3 scoreless innings in the Intimidators’ win. The southpaw is having a strong start to his season posting a 3.29 ERA and a 14/2 K/BB over 13.2 innings. Guererro could be a guy to watch moving forward.
