Star of the Day: Trey Michalczewski only had two hits, but he made them count, driving in three runs for the Intimidators. I put Michalczewski on the “Not Hot” list a few days ago but in his last two games he’s gone 6-9 with a double, a triple, and four runs batted in.

Who is Hot: Carlos Sanchez went 1-3 and is now hitting .306/.395/.417 over his last ten games. Trayce Thompson stays hot, going 2-4 with a walk. Rangel Ravelo blasted his first homer of the season. Cleuluis Rondon went 3-6 with two runs batted in and raised his average to an even .300. Adam Engel collected two hits and swiped three bags.

Who is Not: Matt Davidson is officially slumping, he struck out twice and went 0-4 dropping his season average to .191. Myles Jaye lasted only two innings, walked three and gave up four runs. 2013 third rounder Jacob May is in an 0-15 slump following his 0-4 showing tonight.
