Have you ever withheld what is due to someone because you felt as though they owed you? Regardless of how or why they’re due what you owe them, you have a responsibility to pay up even when it doesn’t seem fair. Your refusal to release what you’re wrongfully holding on to (no matter what it is) not only hinders your personal progress, but it also stunts the growth of the people you owe. From a far, it may appear that they’re O.K., but they are not whole when you have a missing piece. Give people what you owe them even when you don’t always think they deserve it. Don’t make people take what you should give freely.
