Yesterday was the Chicago area launch party for the new program, Turbo Fire.
I had a great time! We all met downtown, which was already buzzing from the hustle and bustle of the Taste, but instead of sampling greasy foods, we headed inside to get our SWEAT on!
This was my first experience with the program, despite the fact that I ordered it and it is sitting at home. I already had a pretty good idea that I was going to love it after having sampled it a few times live with the lovely, Chalene Johnson, herself! You see, I am a Turbo Fanatic (hence the name, turbomelanieb). Don’t get me wrong, I love other forms of exercise, but Turbo is my soul mate workout. It is that one style of exercise that I can do on days when I don’t even feel like it. I teach it in a live class format, and I have the home videos at home for days when I don’t teach… I… just… LOVE… it!
The program is so well designed! My favorite part is the Turbo Tracker journal that it comes with. The journal takes the guess work out. It has places to log your workouts, enter your meals, and even tips for foods, calories, and motivation! It’s such a great tool and I don’t know why nobody included something like this with workout programs sooner. It’s a well oiled machine… a well laid plan… if you follow it, then you are bound to succeed!
The workouts are designed in various time increments… from 15 minutes from 55 minutes. They are designed as HIIT (high intensity interval training) to get you the maximum results in the shortest amount of time. I believe this program is something that anyone can do, no matter what your level is. The DVDs feature selections for everyone… whether you are new to fitness or a seasoned fitness junkie! The best part is that they are FUN FUN FUN!
Anyways, back to the launch party. So much fun! I love the energy in the room when you get a bunch of people doing Turbo. We sampled three of the workouts within the DVD series, tasted Shakeology, and two people even went home with great prizes! I didn’t win anything, but hey, I had a blast… so all’s well that end’s well… and it surely ended well 🙂
