Nemanja Nikolic’s late first half stoppage time goal provided all that the Fire needed for the first road win since May 25, 2018. With time running out in the first half, Aleksandar Katai’s corner kick was played to Nicolas Gaitan 30 yards out. Gaitan’s chip into the area found Nikolic, who directed the ball into the net with one touch.
The Fire held on with their second consecutive clean sheet.
