Fire name Pause as Vice President

Logan Pause’s last game as a player was less than two weeks ago and it didn’t take the club long to find a new role for him within the organization. The Fire announced today that Pause will be assuming the role of Vice President effective December 1. Per a release, Pause will work across “a host of departments on both the business and technical” end.

The specifics of the new role are outlined generally in the release but the description covers a lot of ground. Pause will begin by “supporting commercial initiatives in corporate and ticket sales, working as an ambassador for community programming and developing relationships with supporters and fans. On the soccer front, he will see a wide range of responsibility, primarily with Academy and affiliated teams.”

  • Nothing changes. Handed a soccer oriented talent, the "brains" of the organization immediately begin retooling him as an advertising implement. Wouldn't want to risk the embarrassment of having to explain to Logan how/why Andell doesn't spend money on an improved soccer performance. Sick!
