Busch Nominated in First Save of the Week Contest

Not sure if anyone saw this but MLSnet.com started a new feature today called Save of the Week.  It’s pretty much a carbon copy of the Goal of the Week feature they’ve had going for a while now, only difference is now goalkeepers get a chance to strut their stuff.

The Fire’s Jon Busch is nominated for his great save of Danleigh Borman’s stoppage time header.  Busch is competing against Seattle’s Kasey Keller, KC’s Kevin Hartman, DC’s Josh Wicks and Dallas’s Ray Burse.

So get out and vote for who you think made the best save (I personally voted for Busch).

Who do you think deserves to win the first edition of Save of the Week?  What did you think of Busch’s performance this weekend?

Speak up and post below.

  • Kasey Keller wins this one hands down, the Hartman shot was a difficult dipping ball as well.
