Never before have their been so many choices among full-size premium sedans sold in North America. From the Far East: (top) the 2013 Hyundai Azera starts at $32,250. Our Venetian Red Pearl tester from Asan, Korea went out the door loaded for $37,225.<br> <br> (bottom) the new-for-2013 Toyota Avalon priced from $31,000. As tested our Limited model in Sizzling Crimson Mica (a reddish-brown) came in at $42K. Actually, the Avalon is assembled in Georgetown, Kentucky with lots of parts from Japan.<br>

"Super-Size" us. (top to bottom) the 2013 Ford Taurus Limited AWD and the Chrysler 300S V6. Two full-sized American premium sedans, each priced at $40,000, well contented.
Outside North America and certain Middle Eastern kingdoms, emirates and principalities, anything sized this large wears a luxury nameplate and works in livery service.
