Since there are so many new people reading and commenting on the blog these days, I thought I’d go back and see what some of the most popular blog posts have been in the past in terms of readers.
I thought they’d be the single-school blog posts — about Pulaski, Ravenswood, Gunsaulus — that have been such a focus of energy in terms of comments. But I was wrong.
Sure, there are a few of single-school blog posts among the top 50 — Bloodbath At Bogan. What’s Going On At Reavis? — plus the Fenger video entry.
But in terms of pageviews (readers), there are lots of Huberman posts, plus some lively Weekend Open Threads (remember those?), some posts about Google Mail, selective enrollment schools. The Mysterious Do Not Hire List.
It’s so interesting to me – some of these posts got just 10-20 comments and seemed liked duds, but they were obviously of interest.
Take a look below, see if you see any favorites, or any missing items that deserve special mention (or demerits). Sorry that some of the headlines are truncated — not sure what to do about that, but if you click you can see the full post.
The first few entries are just generic pages — Daily News, When Washington Attacks, etc.
