    • ATTENTION - Chicago Teachers Union Election Investigation

Anyone who attends a Stewart school meeting needs to collect evidence so we can report it to the proper labor agencies for possible union election fraud and misuse of union resources.

      I need:
      Location of Meeting
Date and Time of the Meeting
Names of all union staff and Filed Representatives at the meeting
Names of Faculty and Staff at the meeting
Notices from the meeting - 24hr prior posted notice to all staff
Examples of evidence: pics, video, audio, documents

Especially we need documentation of union staff doing election work!

This hold true of any meetings or documents that threaten our rights as union members to organise and work collectively including CPS employees blocking access to mailboxes or school staff.

      This is an ongoing investigation.

      Please contact me directly.

    • I dont know how to reply to a tweet, so I will post here. Regarding the lack of recess at Near North, I think that is a form of child abuse. That school specializes in children with emotional disorders, which probably includes ADHD, children who most need recess. Actually, any child denied a break is a being mistreated. My son went to a similar -- but private contract school -- and he also began at 7:30. Perhaps these schools start so early to accommodate bus routes. Make sure your child has breaks written into his or her IEP.

    • In reply to LoryN:

"Make sure your child has breaks written into his or her IEP." And then make sure your child gets the active breaks each day.
