Turns out that the biggest believers in the QAnon conspiracy theories that Donald Trump or his minions are about to invade the Capitol are the lefties running it.
Those are the same people who ridiculed the alt-righties and others who believed that upon Trump’s signal (possibly over the emergency broadcast system) hordes of guerrillas would spin out of hiding in the forests and cellars and VFW posts and, I suppose, frat houses gunning for the likes of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Don’t cha know.
Why else would Pelosi and her minions keep 7,000 troops headquarter in D,C., waiting for the ultimate challenge to our democracy and good order?
Why else would that congresswoman be afraid that righty congress-co-conspirators will whip out their concealed guns and mow down everyone on the floor’s left side? We have the word of AOC that her life is in danger from those Republicans.
Obviously, the troops are needed because they must protect the Senate when it tries Trump, laughably to throw a man out of office who no longer is in office.
Why else would the non-politicized FBI and intelligence sources issue those vague warnings that violence awaits, but we can’t tell you the specifics because you don’t need to know? Nothing here to see, move along.
Why else would those big social media honchos insist that they have the power and responsibility to throw out such a broad net as to capture conservatives in order to reign in anyone passing all those coded revolutionary messages to one another?
Among them is Douglass Mackey, the man running the pro-Trump Twitter “Ricky Vaughn” who was arrested and faces up to 10 years in federal prison. He faces one charge of conspiracy for–get this–spreading “disinformation” leading up to the 2016 election that dissuaded black people from voting. Mackey allegedly tweeted an image of a black woman urging Hilary Clinton supporters to “avoid the line” by voting via text from home. More than 4,000 chose to do so, as if Mackey made everyone do so.
The Democratic fear of a successful uprising obviously has eclipsed the belief of the alt-right that they could overthrow the constitution and the regime of corrupt leftie officials who, themselves are plotting to overthrow the constitution and corrupt officials.
I’m confused about whether the mob approaching is antifas masquerading as alt-righties or alt-righties masquerading as antifas. Good against evil or evil against good. It has gotten so exhausting about who is conspiring against whom that I want to pull down the shades, turn off the lights and pull the sheets over my head.
One clear thing, though. Democrats are good at creating fear and they’re piling it on now that they’re running things. They (and their teacher union funders) used fear to keep schools closed. They used fear of a pandemic to cripple the economy and to discredit opponents. Biden is warning of darker days ahead to justify his autocratic rule. Now they’re using fear of “domestic terrorism” to shut down legitimate opponents and to end legitimate debate.
Conspiracies of the right?
