2017 Heisman Trophy Power Rankings: Week 9
I need to see more than two or three games to start touting someone as a Heisman Trophy candidate. Well, for most teams now we’ve seen seven (or eight) games. And we can now say with confidence that some guys are getting it done while others who had been hyped as Heisman hopefuls (cough, Sam... Read more »

Heisman Trophy Power Rankings: Week Three

Clemson quarterback Tahj Boyd and Georgia running back Todd Gurley, both of whom were in our rankings last week, were off this weekend.
The end of the third weekend of college football comes with a few more changes to the short list of Heisman hopefuls. Ohio State’s Braxton Miller has been eliminated from consideration, and Jadeveon Clowney appears to be off the list for good as well. Miller sat out of Ohio State’s win at Cal, and wasn’t... Heisman Trophy Power Rankings: Week Two

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Week Two
Passing: 22-232, 397 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
Rushing: 1 rush, -1 yd, 0 TD
Week One
Against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Bridgewater put up more big numbers. That should be consistent this entire season, which is a double-edged sword for Bridgewater's Heisman candidacy; Louisville has a weak schedule, so while he should put up enormous numbers, the lack of a marquee victory could ultimately hurt his case.

2013 NFL Mock Draft - First Attempt
Next spring’s NFL Draft could be one of the more intriguing in recent memory. With a handful of teams using high picks recently on quarterbacks, many of whom are either developing slowly or not at all, there could be pressure on some of the league’s losers to make redundant picks. Meanwhile, some very highly regarded... Read more »
