2018 NFL Mock Draft: 5-Round Conference Championship Week Edition

2018 NFL Mock Draft: 5-Round Conference Championship Week Edition

We’re down to the final four in the NFL, and of course the Jacksonville Jaguars are still in it. That defense is ridiculous and Blake Bortles hasn’t screwed anything up yet. Good for them! This should be a tremendous upcoming weekend of football.

Which means everyone except those four teams is either hiring a new head coach or looking ahead to the 2018 NFL Draft.

So let’s get a¬†few significant items off the table right away. Four players who many thought could/should make the jump to the NFL this year have decided to return to college for another year.

The most surprising here is Wilkins, who was probably a top ten pick.

With those four off the board, let’s look ahead and update our mock draft with the top order of the top 28 picks in each round now determined.

Barkley, Fitzpatrick, Rudolph, Washington would be a solid draft for Cleveland. I don't know much about Banogu. How do you view Mason Rudolph? He could go much higher, he may be available @33.

  • In reply to SandraK1:

I like Mason Rudolph a great deal in this draft class. And I agree there's a good chance he isn't on the board at 33. I didn't start making up potential trades in this mock, which makes things harder to predict because there will undoubtedly be teams calling on everything in the top 10. If the Browns do go RB at 1, then the entire rest of the first round is up for grabs...

There is Zero Cahnce of the Raiders taking a WR in the first Round.Zero Chance of the Raiders going TE In the second Round. They Will Go D in the First round unless Barkley was to Slide to them

  • In reply to Raidernation:

re: Raidernation - I think Gruden wants playmakers, and Andre Roberts isn't enough as a third option w/ Crabtree (who isn't getting younger) and Cooper (who needs to remember how to catch). There's no way Barkley gets past the top 5-6 picks, but I think they would take Guice in the first if he's on the board. They also need to get younger on their offensive line.
