I’m happy with the way Netflix ended The Killing.
Originally an AMC show, The Killing was finished, tastefully, by (cable television killers) Netflix.
When I was watching the last episode, where Detective Linden (Mireille Enos) turns her car around and goes back for slim shady, I mean Detective Holder (Joel Kinnaman), I had to stop the show and check to see how many epsides were left. None!? I was watching the finale!
How cool. They didn’t drag it out for the full 12 episodes, and I love this.
Maybe Holder and Linden will try their hand in a real relationship? Maybe things won’t work out?
For once, I like that the viewer gets to make that decision. Also, I’m glad some good came out of all that bad. These cases consumed their characters, and it became hard to watch their lives unwind.
So, I’m happy with the way Netflix ended “The Killing.” It brought closure to a series that I really liked.
