The Charlatans "Who We Touch Tour 2010"

The Charlatans "Who We Touch Tour 2010"

A few weeks back I had The Charlatans‘ “Weirdo” running through my head. So, I went downstairs, grabbed the original import, and played it tirelessly in the car CD player.

On that Weirdo single there was a live version of “Sproston Green,” which brought back memories of their great live shows, I attended as a teen.

This lead me to look on Amazon, to see what live shows were available on CD for purchase, and I found one I had never seen, or heard.

img_8740AllMusic says it’s: “A triple-disc set capturing an October 22, 2010 show at the Brixton Academy, Who We Touch Tour 2010 finds the Charlatans in robust form as they run through a 21-song set.”

That description is spot on, and I have been rocking this puppy all week. It took some time to get here, since it was sent by drone from the UK, but it was worth the wait and the cost.

I paid $6 total, for a 3-disc set, that was still in the shrink wrap. No, it wasn’t in the cut out bins, but damn was it a good deal, and a good find!

BTW, The Charlatans have a new record coming out in May, the second in the same amount of years.
