Cubs In Haiku: Sweep !?!

Aren’t you excited?
The Cubs just won three straight games
And swept a series

It took more than 100 games, and a series against the only team in baseball with a worse record than the Cubs. But they did win three in a row. And they did sweep a series.

I know it’s not much
And it’s not gonna last long
Tough road trip ahead

If the Cubs weren’t 18 games under .500 and 11.5 games out of first place, a road trip against all three teams tied for first in the Central Division could be a turning point. I suspect it’s just going to be depressing.
