Details emerge on Fullerton L murder; theft victim hopes assailant will turn himself in

The Tribune today tells the gripping story of the victim of the iPhone theft at the Fullerton L stop in last March, and the thief who became a murderer seconds later when he pushed a 68-year-old woman to her death down the station stairway.

It’s worth the read. And it’s worth repeating the description of the man wanted for murder in the crime. From the Tribune sidebar story:

“The suspect in the March 28 incident was described as a black male,
between 17 and 25 year old, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall and
weighing between 170 and 220 pounds. Police have said he was last seen
wearing blue jeans, a black hat and a black jacket with vertical writing
or graphics down the center.”
