Green Snuggie makes a fine fashion statement for CTA commute

The whole Red Line train car did a double take on a sleepy Thursday morning when the very large lady boarded at Thorndale.

She was wrapped tight in her huge green Snuggie. She wore it over her heavy, hooded winter overcoat.

She took her seat right next to me and pulled out her book, “Partners in Necessity.” According to Amazon, “This is swashbuckling space opera at its finest, a blend of adventure, romance, humor, and terrific world building.”

  • Actually Joe, I didn't notice her boots, but that's probably a good bet. I was just so fixated on looking at her Snuggie.

  • Next time, if she has a green snuggie, ride the Green Line.

  • Shocked there's no phone pics to share.

Silky: I literally was sitting right next to her, or I would have!

  • In reply to silkysoul:

Are you sure it was a Snuggie? The Slanket is larger.

  • In reply to silkysoul:

    I know this person. It's not a Snuggie, it's a cloak.
