CTA Chairwoman Brown resigns

Carole Brown today announced her resignation as CTA board chairperson. Also resigning was Vice-Chairperson Susan Leonis.

Brown said it was the right time to leave, and claimed the transit agency’s budget woes were not a factor in her resignation decision.

  • I'm glad she's going. Good Riddance. Her blog was a joke...she let Frank get away with the Block 37 fiasco and closed the perfectly working Red line Washington transfer station and left us with a big hole. Her response was that "she didn't know about it"...
