Ever since I’ve had my business, I have done a few vendor shows each year. But, I never really had a sign I loved. It seemed hypocritical to own an eco-friendly company and have a vinyl sign, and the ones I made myself really didn’t cut it. Let’s just say, no one is knocking at my door to be their next cafe sign writer.
Ideas? Yes. Crafty enough to implement them? No.
So, where can you go to find crafty small businesses when you have no clue where to begin? Etsy of course.
I love that Lisa at Longefellow Designs understood my concept and created this…
It looks like a chalkboard, but it’s actually paper.
And, it only took a couple of minor tweaks and it was perfect.
Need a sign? Lisa can help!
Birthday wishes, wedding announcements, inspirational quotes…essentially anything you’d like personalized, she can do.
Don’t have anything specific in mind? That’s ok, she has some great ones all ready to purchase, no customizing necessary.
Wouldn’t that be the coolest holiday gift?!
The chalkboard finish is only one of the different looks to her work. Choose from “painted wood”, typography, silhouettes, even pillow covers.
I will definitely be placing more orders with Longfellow Designs (she’s even located in Illinois!). If you hurry to her Etsy page, she has a buy 2 get a 3rd free promotion going on (sorry, custom prints aren’t included in this offer).
What’s the coolest thing you’ve found on Etsy?
