A few weeks ago my friend was out shopping and texted me “You HAVE to come to this store!” Since then, I’ve tried twice. Once it was just past closing time, the other time I was about an hour too early. I think the universe it actually trying to protect my wallet, it may be empty by the time I leave Nest Vintage Modern!
Don’t worry, their store hours aren’t posted incorrectly, I just ended up in LaGrange for different reasons.
I’m quite certain, though, that nearby stores were ready to call the police since I was staring longingly into the windows probably a little too long!
Imagine a cross between Anthropologie and Room 363.
Not only are there great gifts and home decor, the furniture displayed is also for sale. And, many items are one of kind. So, if you don’t buy it when you see it, you may find it in my house!
You know all of those great projects you’ve liked on Pinterest? Make sure your attempt doesn’t become a “nailed it” fail. Nest offers beginner & advanced classes teaching you how to paint furniture using Annie Sloan non-toxic Chalk Paints.
There’s a reason they only sell Annie Sloan Paints, owners Sara & Alana have a strong committment to salvaging and repurposing great vintage finds with concern for the environment. The majority of items for sale have even been created close to home.
My next trip to the Nest will be planned! Empty trunk and no kids so I can linger forever!
