Day 68: A day in Chicago

After a three hour talent show at my daughter’s junior high, I’m ready for bed.  But I didn’t want to leave you with out a day 68.  Today is actually more of a preview for tomorrow.  So, if you’re looking for something to do on your Sunday, here are two great options.

Dose Market!  I wrote about this the other day.  If you didn’t preorder tickets, that’s ok, you can still get them at the door. Over 50 small businesses will be there for you to sample, shop, drink, and enjoy. Remember, the all of the same vendors aren’t there each month, so think ahead for great gifts! I’m looking forward meeting to Nicolet Candle Company, Homer’s Ice Cream, and Shop 1021. Did you see Salted Caramel on Food Network tv today? Yep, they’ll be there too!

Hoping my kids will find a few sweets at Dose to keep their energy up for more shopping when we’re done. Andersonville Galleria is on my agenda too. If you’ve never been here- it’s a must stop next time you’re in the city. Similar to Dose Market, only a little more permanent, AG is 100 small businesses under one roof. Set up as small booths, you’ll find great artwork, clothing, accessories, tasty treats, anything someone is capable of creating. Though it’s great to visit anytime, it was really fun around the holidays; you can find gifts for everyone on your list, in all different price ranges. imageimage
Where do you think we should stop tomorrow? Don’t forget to change your clocks tonight!
