I swear, this is the last post on resale shops for awhile. But I had so much fun today, that I couldn’t pass up telling you. Looking for designer shoes, purses, clothes, and jewelry and huge discounts? I found the mother of all resale stores for you!
Champagne tastes on a beer budget? You’re in luck. This place is full of high-end clothes at reasonable prices. I have the impression that most of the women who consign here, wouldn’t dare wear last season’s trends. Fortunately, I don’t fall into that category.
While I couldn’t tell you the difference between a Jimmy Choo and a Manolo Blahnik (though I would love a pair of those cool shoes with the red bottoms), I do appreciate that they’re available for a fraction of the retail price.
Everything is in fantastic condition, and I even saw serveral items with the tags still on them.
Wondering which brands you’ll find? Burberry, Chanel, Coach, Donald Pliner, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Kensie, Milly, Theory, and a ton more. Need workout clothes? Plenty of Lululemon too.
But, what, for the love of God, is the name of this place you ask?
Swap Shop Resale Boutique.
Hopefully owner Beverly will be there the day you visit. She is extremely friendly, very funny, and honestly (in a good way) helpful with advice. She does have a second location, but I have not yet been there, and she says it’s also a bit smaller.
Like Posh, Swap Shop exudes the boutique feel. Aside from the prices, you wouldn’t know that it’s not a swanky boutique. It is also larger than it appears, the basement holds wears for the opposite season.
I was happy to find a great pair of Anoname (never heard of them, but they’re made in California!) jeans for $25! I will definitely visit again.
Let me know what you find there!
