Comedy shows are selling out faster than ever, so here are some ticket alerts:

June 1: Tickets go on sale for the world premiere of Cooking with Bubbie: The Musical starring Jan Slavin and Carla Gordon at The Skokie Theatre, July 10-August 22.

June 3-5: Pat Tomasulo at Zanies in Rosemont.

June 10-13: Josh Johnson at Zanies in Rosemont.

June 17-18: Online masterclass improv workshop with Susan Messing and Rachael Mason.

July 9-11: Michael Palascak at Zanies Chicago.

October 12: Gary Gulman at The Vic.

November 5-6: Preacher Lawson at The Improv (almost sold out).

Crazy Woke Asians Comedy Festival 3 p.m. – 1 a.m. ONLINE This virtual live comedy festival includes one of Chicago’s best, Prateek Srivastava, who is known for his hilarious comedy and positive energy. Follow link for all details.

Monday Night Funnies 7:00 p.m. ONLINE I NEVER miss this online show produced by Denise Medina and Mark Klaber and hosted by the inimitable Jessica Winther. With a coast-to-coast lineup of up-and-comers and established comedy stars, Jessica keeps the show flying with her lightning hilarious wit and authenticity.
