Nutcracker Photos, Part Two

After a long tour (see part one of photos here), we are finally back in Chicago and so happy to be back.  The Joffrey family is here and ready to perform…we have never been in such great shape, with dancers at the top of their game, giving you a show with more creativity, joy, and talent than ever before.  The kids are on fire, ready to take the stage at the Auditorium Theater 🙂
It feels like we are definitely taking our vitamin C.  It did not take much effort for us to put this production together with the kids.  For whatever reason, everything fell together so easily this year, and it shows.  It usually takes some time to get everyone on the same page, having to take into consideration a different theater, with a different stage crew, different children’s cast, etc.  It takes time for everyone to sync up, but this year it seems we’ve reached that point already, before opening, in such a short short amount of time.
The tickets are going very fast, which reflects such a great response from our city for the arts.  I know we are in difficult times and it is a difficult year for everyone, but the Joffrey is beyond ready to give you one hour and thirty minutes of joy and great excitement.

See you there 🙂
