So we’ve finished another workday at the Joffrey, headed into our second (and final) weekend of performing Cinderella at the Auditorium Theater, and already preparing to head off on tour to Florida next week. Yes, that’s right. Florida, next week, with an entirely different program, one week after closing a full length ballet. Well it’s true that the Joffrey is never boring! The program for Florida includes Reflections (Gerald Arpino), Smile with My Heart (Lar Lubovitch), and Age of Innocence (Edwaard Liang). It’s a tough program showcasing what the Joffrey is all about…a dancer that can do anything and handle quickly going from one style to the next.
We are performing a total of two shows in two cities. We will be performing in West Palm Beach on Saturday, March 6th at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts at 8:00pm (get info and tickets here). We will then perform in Sarasota on Monday, March 8th at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall at 8:00pm (get info and tickets here). I will be performing all 3 ballets (Reflections, Smile with My Heart, and Age of Innocence) in West Palm Beach, and will only be performing Reflections in Sarasota (casting always subject to change).
