Holy Shimmering Shamrocks, Batman - it's St Patrick's day

Happy St Patrick’s Day! That’s it. I’m done. I’m out. I’m off to have some fun. You might have sensed the silliness level was increasing over the past day or two. I mean, Mickey Mouse and bunny ears. Who’d do that to their little leprechaun. I did in fact receive a nasty comment from a troll. But he as much as admitted trolls always get very angry around this time of year as leprechauns grab all the attention.

I’m sure you know the feeling, because the same happens in the human race around March 17. Everyone wants to be Irish. To feel they have Irish blood in them. To be able to trace back their ancestors to the Emerald Isle. And I mean everyone.

So for the very last time, where’s Paddy and why?

My friends, this day may only last 24 hours, but this road to St Patrick’s Day will remain in your hearts and your screens all year round, right at the top of my blog. So you’ll never have to ask ‘Where’s Paddy?‘ again. And if you’re wondering why I did all this, the answer is here, in a piece I wrote for St Patrick’s Day last year.

Why St Patrick’s Day reminds me of the best parts of being Irish

Just leaves me to to wish you all….

As you slide down the bannister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction
