Halloween cocktails, anyone?

Gross-out factor
RecipeZaar is serving up a user-generated list of Halloween and otherwise creepy cocktails including “sewer water” (yick!), “mold” (ew!), “broken leg” (ow!), and the “black cat” (black vodka? Why not?). While Martha Stewart offers some Halloween-party-riffic drink recipes on her website such as the green kiwi cocktails served in chemistry flasks. Fret not: The bold need not feel excluded with shots such as Fine Living’s Bloody Brain shooter (bleh!).

Looking creepy at the bar
Martha Stewart’s “blood”-rimmed “Pina Ghoulada” cocktail looks fabulously spooky. But, it’s Martha’s eyeball-highball is, quite possibly, my personal favorite. Major style points on that one, Martha.

Oh, grow up!
Frozen faux eyeballs and fake blood too childish for you? Fair enough. Try the candy corn cordial, a grown-up twist on a kid favorite or the black vodka-tangerine screwdriver from Martha Stewart, which gives a chic layered orange and black look.
