The Kill the Lights tour opened in Evansville, Indiana in February earlier this year. With only 9 show left this summer, he shows no sign of slowing down. With Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town as party starters, Luke Bryan wows the crowd.
Dustin Lynch is still be an up and coming singer songwriter. But even with that status, his album, Where It’s At, reached number 2 on the US Country chart. He debuted the new single Seein’ Red at Saturday night performance at Wrigley Field. The current release date for the Seein’ Red album is still to be announced, the crowd enjoyed it.
Little Big Town kept the crowd in the party mood. Their four part harmonies have made them one of the most sought after touring partners. One of the things that set them apart from other musical groups is that they do not have a lead vocalist. Instead, they blend two or more of their voices to create their signature sound.
The Kill the Lights tour is his fourth Headlining tour. The tour is in support of his fifth studio album, Kill the Lights, released in 2015. Luke Bryan took to the stage with “Rain Is a Good Thing” and “Kick The Dust Up”. “Chicago is a special place to me” He told the crowd. “You have sold out The All State Arena, the United Center, Solider field and now Wrigley Field”.
Luke has no issue sharing the spotlight, and calls on his tour mates to help. He included Karen Farchild of Little Big Town for “Home Alone Tonight”. The rest of Little Big Town comes out for a Marvin Gaye cover of “Let’s Get It On”. Luke also pulled Dustin up for a Brooks & Dunn cover of “Play Something Country” .
