And Beyond rocks Our Lady of the Snows Parish Fest

Saturday evening, August 1st, we attend Our Lady of the Snows Parish fest on Chicago’s southwest side. During the event we were there to see our friends and one of the hardest working cover bands in Chicagoland. Coming out of a recent breakup with a former band, this group has regrouped and have worked hard to become known as “…And Beyond

And Beyond, a classic rock band with an Edge. Their performance is an experience you just have to see to believe. These experienced artists performed many venues and festivals throughout the Midwest and have for over two decades. Their song list extends from trademark proven classic rock favorites to today’s popular selections.

As we have said in the past, it bears repeating. “These guys bring years of experience to the stage and it shows various members take turns performing the lead on songs that fit their broad vocal ranges. Amazing that these guys packed so much music and talent into a single show. An Amazing performance and well worth the price of admission.”

Unlike some bands we have seen, these guys are true performers, they take turns as lead vocals and leave the stage to work the crowd, dancing and singing with their fans. Giving fans the person touch. They are taking their music to the people, making them part of the party.

Our Lady of The Snow Parish hosted a family friendly weekend carnival. Offering a chance for the community to come out, have some fun and rock.

The set list for the evening of non-stop music was as follows. Nothin’ But a Good Time; Turn up the Radio; Good Times Bad Times; Final Countdown; Spirit of the Radio; When you close your Eyes; All the Small Things; The boys are Back; Lady; A Bon Jovi medley;  Lights; Come Sail Away; Sweet Emotion; Walk This Way; Somebody Told Me; Own Worst Enemy; Jump; Your Love; Man in a Box; Summer of ’69; Pour Some Sugar on Me; Enter Sandman; Carry On My Wayward Son; Led Zeppelin medley; Sweet Caroline; Everybody Talks; Hurts so Good; American Girl; Animal; Hot for Teacher; Rawhide; Save a Horse ride a Cowboy; Talk Dirty to Me; The Middle; Stealin; Here I Go Again; Don’t Stop Believin; and more.

I don’t know how they can pack so much music into their set, but they pull it off. Make sure you check out their Facebook page to get the most update schedule so you to can catch their performance.

We have to give this electric performance by these guys a solid five guitars. Let’s do this again soon.
