Spring and All

Spring and All

Sun on melting snow, and warmer days are coming. Chiberia is melting. Spring begins, a little more light each day.

This is the second pandemic spring. Once again, the Easter candy is on display at Walgreens.

Oh yes! Things are very different this year.

We are used to wearing masks now. We are used to social distancing and buying essential things. We know the difference between wants and needs.

Most of us are worried about money and expenses. Most of us are grateful for moments of peace.

What about you, do you suffer from insomnia? Are you sleeping better with Joe Biden as President, and Kamala Harris as Vice President casting the deciding vote in the Senate?

Who were you a year ago, before everything changed?

  • Thank you for your observations. I am feeling unchanged somedays, but other days are rollercoasters. I have a harder time getting to sleep than I used to, but I am soon arguing with myself that I'm too sleepy to get up. Onward we go.

Thanks so much for reading! I really wanted to do a post with the new WordPress, so this was my attempt. I can't find where to add categories, though. Maybe there's a way to do it later.

Yes, I have changed, for sure. More reclusive, less clutter, more clarity. Yes, onward, we go!

  • Not sleeping better. Something gets me up at 2 am and 5 am, then the alarm goes off at 8, and I find myself arguing with Mully and Haugh, and then realize that they are not listening and I was asleep, then I nod off periodically during the day. I operate better on CDT.

60 degrees will feel good, but there's still snow on the ground.

Cheers, Jack! Thanks so much for reading. Yes, I am also part of the 2 am club. and the 5 am club. but at least not so many nightmares.
The light at 5:30 am is beautiful, now, and the late moon in the predawn sky.

So happy for more light and 60's soon. But yes, there are still piles of snow...
