Knee-Jerk Contest

Knee-Jerk has announced its first annual essay and chapbook contest this week. They are looking for previously unpublished essays and chapbooks before June 30th. The winner of the essay contest will win publication in their annual print edition, Knee-Jerk Offline Vol. 2, and $500. Two runner-up will receive $100 and publication in one of Knee-Jerk’s monthly issues online. The chapbook contest will be judged by both the editorial staff of Knee-Jerk and guest judges Mary Hamilton and Lindsay Hunter. The chapbook will receive publication on Knee-Jerk’s new imprint, AutoGraft, plus 25 contributor copies and a 5-song digital release of music inspired by your chapbook, written and recorded by the Knee-Jerk editorial staff. There is a fee to entry, but every participant will receive a copy of Offline Vol. 1.
