I am a regular listener to the fine local podcast You, Me, Them Everybody, and this Monday founder Brandon Wetherbee will be hosting his monthly live talk show. The event takes place at Hungry Brain, and this month they are featuring one of my favorite Chicago writers. Stephanie Kuehnert has released two novels through MTV Books, and has the rare ability to vividly recreate teen angst even though she is now an adult. Her latest book, Ballads of Suburbia is a warning to parents and a fantasy to young adults.
The event also features comedian Junior Stopka and music from Team Band. This is what makes YMTE so unique, their unique mixture of genres and art form, all brought to you live an in person. The event takes place at Hungry Brain in Roscoe Village and begins at 9pm.
