CSN Chicago broadcasting 3 Games in 1 Night; also how to be on "Beer Money"

Comcast SportsNet Chicago, or CSN Chicago has a very rare scenario on Friday, April 25. The network will be airing three live professional events simultaneously at 7:00 PM on three separate channels…with games being produced in three separate cities.

“Friday night will most definitely be a unique experience for both our network and our viewers with three live games airing simultaneously on three separate channel locations, but we are certainly ready for this exciting challenge,” said Phil Bedella, VP/GM of Comcast SportsNet Chicago. “I’d also like to thank our sister station NBC 5 and their President/General Manager David Doebler for their assistance in making their digital channel, ‘Cozi TV,’ available for our CSN+2 Cubs telecast.”

Here’s the schedule

Stanley Cup Playoffs: Blackhawks at St. Louis – 7:00 PM on Comcast SportsNet

NBA Playoffs: Bulls at Washington – 7:00 PM on CSN+

MLB Baseball: Cubs at Milwaukee – 7:00 PM on CSN+2

Viewers urged to visit CSNChicago.com for channel locations in their area

Since we’re on the topic of CSN Chicago; the new season of “Beer Money” is coming up. You know the show by it’s previous, more corporate friendly and family friendly name “gas money.” (Because after all you only need to be 16 to go buy gas, but you need to be 21 to buy beer…..or not, you can buy gas for your golf cart or scooter at a younger age)

Hosted by CSN Chicago’s Luke Stuckmeyer & Jen Lada, Beer Money is CSN Chicago’s weekly sports trivia show that hits the streets of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, testing local sports fans and viewer knowledge on Chicago sports trivia.

Here’s how it works: Fans take a shot at answering three trivia questions that could win them a total of up to $130. However, if they get one question wrong, they walk away with nothing! In addition to the three trivia questions segment of Beer Money, other games within the show include “Clues for Brews” (participant is given five clues to guess the name of a Chicago past/present sports figure; money starts at $100 and goes down by increments of $20 for each additional clue needed) and “Beer Run” (a timed game where the participant needs to name as many correct answers in the category; each correct answer earns the participant $10).

Beer Money will tape at the following locations:

· JW Hollstein’s (1735 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park) – Taping Thu, May 15 at 5pm!

· McBride’s on 52 (2727 W. Jefferson St., Joliet)

· Jesse Oaks (18490 W. Old Gages Rd., Gages Lake)

· 115 Bourbon Street (3359 W. 115th St., Merrionette Park/Chicago)

· Home (1227 N. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights)

· Bannerman’s Sports Grill (858 IL-59, Bartlett)

New season of Beer Money airs Sundays at 7pm on CSN Chicago. First episode is May 4th.
