Tomorrow marks the start of the second annual Midwest Small Press Festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Last year’s festival featured performances by Nick Demske, mIEKAL aND, Jen Tynes, Ike Sikkema, Dolly Lemke, MC Hyland, Catfish McDaris, David Press, Andy Gricevich, Okla Elliot. Featured presses included Curbside Splendor, Switchback Books, Doublecross, Horse Less, Orange Alert, Rabbit Catastrophe and Poetry for the Masses (to name a few).

This modest festival has big ambitions and longs to be a traveling festival. It’s a great opportunity for indie presses, writers and editors to get out and strut their stuff while also enjoying the delights of “Miller Town”.
