Food Is Art! is the theme for this year’s ninth annual Bon Appétit presents Chicago Gourmet foodie party in the park–one of the nation’s premier culinary celebrations that brings a full weekend of culinary arts and events to the Windy City.
Pre-sale tickets for the 2016 event–that is scheduled for Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25 in Millennium Park—go on sale Thursday, April 14 at 10 am. CST online at the Chicago Gourmet website.
As in the past a limited number of tickets are discounted for early birds. The special rate tickets will be available for $148 per person for a single day, or $250 per person for a Weekend Pass.
After the limited edition tickets sell out, additional tickets will be priced at $185 per person, per day, or $295 per person for the Weekend Pass. These tickets will be available for purchase online immediately after pre-sale ticket sales close. All ticket prices exclude taxes and fees.
The event, which in the past has SOLD OUT early, features more than 200 restaurants and top chefs, along with hundreds of renowned vintners, spirit makers and premium breweries. In addition to the food and drink, tickets to Chicago Gourmet include a multitude of live cooking demonstrations, wine seminars, gourmet tastings, book signings and more.
Tickets to other Chicago Gourmet events including the Grand Cru, the popular Hamburger Hop held on the rooftop of the Harris Theatre and other scheduled and TBA happenings will go on sale at a later date.
