I heard about Naked Pizza coming to Chicago via Twitter. If you are not familiar Naked Pizza is a franchise that carries all-natural “za” that is naked of the following: added sugars, preservatives, antibiotics, hormones or crazy unpronounceable chemicals. The dough is made from what they call an Ancestral Blend of 10 grains plus prebiotic agave fiber and probiotics.
They also have gluten free crust. Unfortunately, I am unable to try it because the crust also contains milk, eggs, and soy. If you are able to give Naked Pizza a try please report back and leave a comment. For us allergy free folks Naked Pizza advises that before ordering please advise your server regarding your allergy. The Ancestral Blend® (regular crust and cheesy breadstixx) contains wheat and soy. The gluten-free crust contains milk, eggs, soy and is also produced in a facility that contains and processes dairy and tree nuts. The mozzarella, cheddar and feta cheese (obviously) contain milk. Their ranch salad dressing contains milk and eggs. They have stated: Although we take great care in reducing cross contamination, wheat is present in all our stores.
