Happy Valentine’s Day! Take a stab at a few holiday haunts this weekend, catch a play (Evil Dead!), or relax at the movies with genre films like VFW, Brazil, Lady Vengeance, Nosferatu (with live organ accompaniment), Blue Velvet, Atlantics, a “Roses Are Dead” Valentine’s event screening horror shorts, and more!

ATLANTICS – (Feb. 14th-20th) Atmospheric, haunting Senegalese fantasy that elegantly connects both social commentary and the spirit world together. The less you know going in, the better. VFW, FANTASY ISLAND, PARASITE, KNIVES OUT – (Feb. 14th-19th) VFW is an action horror film by Joe Begos (Bliss) where an all-out war between war veterans, drug dealers, and mutant punks breaks out at their VFW post. COLOR OUT OF SPACE – (Feb. 14th & 15th) Midnight Friday and Saturday.
