The Chicago Bulls Reach A Turning Point With Win Over Cleveland
The 2016-17 Chicago Bulls have wavered somewhere between competent playoff team, and lottery-bound mess for most of the season. A big reason for this is Chicago’s complete lack of capable three-point shooting, and that is why last night’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers by the score of 106-to-94 was so encouraging. In a game where... Read more »
What's the plan for Game 2?
You can look at Chicago’s Game 1 in two different ways. One being the Bulls coming through and getting the job done, which they did. Or, them acquired two solid big leads, only to have them both drop back to Earth before closing it out. The pessimist in me is concerned about that last view,... Read more »
LeBron's legacy and the new look of free agency
Once again, the world rallied together and rooted for "Not Miami" in the NBA finals. Not nearly as strongly as when "Not Miami" won in the form of the Dallas Mavericks, but the sentiment was still there. This time, the San Antonio Spurs blew out the Heat. Embarrassed them in three straight wins where Miami looked, slow, unathletic, and lazy...

Derrick Rose did "what everyone else did'' including 5-5 scrimmages
Just a few days after Derrick Rose threw cold water over Bulls nation on the speed of his recovery, he went through a full practice with the team. According to Tom Thibodeau Rose did "what everyone else did" which is good news for Bulls fans...
LeBron's better than Jordan, oh wait, no he's not, but could you imagine!
I thought waking up today that I could turn on sports radio and possibly be safe from Miami sports talk. Unfortunately, I was wrong. On my short five minute commute to the train station I flipped on Mike and Mike in the morning just to hear about how the Heat winning the title adds interest to the NBA and how LeBron James might be better than Jordan [FWIW, both Mike's disagreed that he's presently better]. I feel sad, that I may need to write this article for the next five or six years every year...
John Lucas does his Derrick Rose impression in Bulls win over Heat
The best thing about the Bulls victory over the Heat is that there was no choke by Miami. There was no gaffe. There was no holding back. By the end of the game every trick they've tried on Derrick Rose was used on John Lucas; double team 40 feet from the basket, trap on the pick and roll, and even LeBron taking the assignment. The Heat couldn't stop John Lucas who played the best game of his life, and the Bulls went on to win...

Bulls vs Heat 8:30pm on ESPN
The Bulls and Heat renew their rivalry in a late starting game on TNT tonight. The Heat are coming off an overtime loss to the Magic where LeBron James willed the Magic to win with his ineffective fourth quarter and overtime play while the Bulls had a day off in which Rose limped away from film session before getting into a minor car accident. Oh yeah, he was also fined 25k for his thoughts about the refs screwing him over. Cue Daniel Powter...

Final thoughts on Miami/LeBron/Dirk
So today, I was going to get allergy tested to purchase a new dog [yes, this ties in]. For people with severe pet allergies, there is a breed of dog called the American Hairless Terrier which many find tolerable. However, the breed is pretty rare, and to test, you basically just play with... Read more »
