Jan Tichy

On Friday I met with artist Jan Tichy for an interview.

Jan Tichy. “Installation no. 10,” 2010. Painted Medex objects, two volumes of “The Works of Josephus Flavius,” (1823). Two channel digital video projection, running time: 17 min. Image courtesy of the artist.

Our interview will be published on ArtSlant: Chicago, but in the mean time, the artist has an installation on view at Spertus for their “Ground Level Projects” (the above image) and designed the Loyola Museum of Art’s exhibition of Lázló Moholy-Nagy’s work.  If you happen to be in Portland, Tichy is also showing in “Disquieted” at the Portland Art Museum as well.

I’ll keep CAB updated about when our interview is public.
